butterball's vet visit...

bellathecat Jul 11, 2003 06:12 PM

we just got back from the vets. For once nothing major happen, except for some antiobotics for cheapgrass in her one paw. BUT NO MAJOR MEDICAL PROBLEMS. She even lost 3 pounds, so we now have 7 more to go.

My regular vet moved away about 3 months ago, so they have new younng vet. He really nice and asked alot of questions about your dog health. I think I will like him alot, next month it Bella turn - so I don't I should let him see her or have the other vet see her.

He did say that he can feel arthitis in her knees, which I knew that was going to happen. He didn't say that she was serve overweight but just working on getting the weight off. Which we have been, but SHE SO SPOIL since we lost Sitka.

But Im just happy that nothing major is wrong with her. For being 12 years old with bad knees and overweight, she is good health.

Yeah Butterball!!! Hey, if you get her weight down, will we need to shorten her name? She won't be a butterball anymore, so just call her Butter? Ball? J/K with ya!

Keep up the good work and the arthritis won't bother her so much.
