Can Danes stand the heat in florida?Any dane adoption places near SW florida?

Combs reptiles Jul 15, 2003 10:56 AM

I plan on making it a inside dog, but was wondering if when i take him or her out, will they be able to handle periods of heat outside? I had a brindle dane as a kid and loved him. He was so friendly and smart. I remember when he ran he sounded like a horse..LOL.. Aso wondering if there are any dane adoption resources down here. Thanks for any help or advice any can give.

I would imagine that a Dane can handle it outside in the heat for potty breaks and stuff. For walks, rough playing, I think I'd stick to early morning or evening when it has cooled down a bit.
