My Yorkie

edsonorellana Aug 07, 2003 01:15 AM

Well Im new to this forum and I just got my first Yorkie a little over a month ago.
Since I got him I've been looking ever where for information on caring for my beautiful boy. I have a few questions and I hope you guys can do me the huge favoe of answering them.
1. Today my puppy was walking around in my room when all of the sudden I noticed he was breathing heavily. Is this something to be concrened about or is it normal.

2. What fruits and vegetable can I feed my doggie?

3. Can some one please let me know of a good breeder of yorkies here in southern california. My friends have all fallen in love with the breed and I want to send them to a good breeder.

Thank You.

I'd have the veterinarian check out that breathing. As far as fruits and vegetables, these are tiny dogs who need to eat well and frequently to avoid hypoglycemia (especially in puppyhood), and dogs are meat eaters. I'd stick to a top-quality dog food and avoid people food, at least for now.
