Urgent Staffie needs help!!

Lisha Aug 07, 2003 10:51 AM

His story is heartbreaking and he really needs someone to step up soon. If anyone is interested please email Susan. Depending on your location I would be willing to help arrange transport. He's running out of time. Thanks

I'll try to see if I can do something but as you probably know it is hard to place these guys at times. Whether it be unsuiteable owners or lack of those willing to take on the responsibility.

Good Luck.

I did post in Rescue about finding AmStaff rescue through the AKC website. That might help. Also there is a pitbull rescue group, who may or may not be overwhelmed right now: www.pbrc.net/organizations.html

I think that Mr. Rosie is in grave danger ,and probably will not find a home. Poor boy, I have also looked into sancturaries but I am not sure if thats really a quality life. Thanks again for caring.

But he is still urgent, they bought him some time but I don't know how much...
I have posted flyers about him around town, but it seems no one wants to go to connecticut for a scared up dog, can't blame them too much I suppose! Our finger and paws are crossed.

>> Alicia,

Hmmm, would have been nice if you had gotten a reply. I usually assume I am the first unless I hear to the contrary. Sometimes, people see something like this and assume 50 other people have emailed about it already.
