They are adorable! How old?? Is it hard having two?

Sassbella Aug 27, 2003 08:37 AM

Hi,

I think it is easier actually. They eat the same time, sleep, play and go out the same. They have a constant playmate. Everything I would have to do for Murphy I just do for Molsen also. I think the only downside is the cost of course it's double the price. Our vet is VERY well priced and it is affordable. It has been a joy. Murphy is the one on the left in the picture and he is 9 weeks old. Molsen is 13 weeks old. They have the same father but different Mothers. I don't know who gets tired first by the end of the day my two little girls or the puppies. We originally just went to the breeder to pick up Murphy. His older brother Molsen was left over from a previous litter. We spent a lot of time watching the two of them and it was obvious they were very close. So we had to take them both. It just seemed right.

They are beautiful!
Do you crate them at all, or are you lucky to be a stay at home mom?

Sassbella Aug 27, 2003 12:20 PM

Hi!

I am home during the day and work nights. But then my boyfriend is here with them at night. So they are never alone. We do have 2 large crates. Right now we are only using one of them. They are very content at night together in the one. You don't hear a peep out of them. During the day they don't go in unless I have to shower or just can't pay attention. Usually I just wait until they fall asleep and then do whatever it is I have to do. It is really a joy. Thanks!

Hello and welcome!

You have an adorable little family there. A friend of mine adopted brother golden puppies and it worked out greyt for her too. She said 2 was hardly any more trouble than 1 and they were close like your 2 are.

Good luck and can't wait to read growing up stories!!

Hi!

Thanks so much for the welcome to the forum. I agree it truly is easier with the two of them. A constant playmate makes it much easier. Thanks again!
