I put an e-album together of photos we took after the storm in Hatteras Village. We sustained the loss of a few roof shingles at our house -- but 6 miles west of us it's another story as you will see in the photos. We expect the road north off the island over the Oregon Inlet to be open soon which will allow travel on and off Hatteras Island. Travel to Hatteras Village is by boat and ferry only -- the road no longer exists. We'll see what they do to rebuild Hwy 12 into Hatteras Village.
