He is adopted. Some say he is pure Pit others think he's crossed with a lab. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Nice dog. Its hard to say my friend. I have seen what are supposed to be pit bulls but are far from them. The meda also put alot of that nonesense out. It could be a sharpei/pit and then bred back to a pit and looks pit again. You never know what it could be. I can say that its genetic dose of pit bull is higher than another breed. Therefore appears more pit bull-ish.... Also it could be mixed with several other pit bull appearing dogs. It could be a american staffordshire terrier, it could be a staffordshire bull terrier, and so one......That question is like grabbing a person and saying what race or nationality are they. It is hard to tell. They may have more of one race pulling through making them appear to be more of one than the other but if you go back a few generations you may find something you never expected.....
Anymore questions or clarifying let me know......
Very pretty dog but he looks to have something else in there. But who knows. Nice dog.
