Being here in Bham I can tell you that permits for non native species aren't being given out. They do exist but they simply aren't being issued. On the bright side indigenous stuff requires no paperwork at all unless you are in a city that prohibits it.

I have been waiting for something to come of this. I have no problem at all with the permit system. But I do have a problem with the fact I CANT GET ONE. I have been keeping and breeding Venomous for 11 years and now I had to give up all my Hots becouse some Stupid ass decided to let a Cobra go. My main area of interest is the Naja. I was working with everything Naja kaouthia had to offer including Double het for Sunset/Leucistic. I also had Black, Brown, Banded, Albino and on and on. These snakes where my reason for waking up in the morning. Oh well enough [bleep]en I guess I just wish they would come around and start to issue permits.
Take care and thank you for the reply
Justin
