Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

Brandysmom Nov 23, 2003 03:27 AM

Hope all are doing well and have great plans for the up coming holiday.
Dh and I will be at our place in northern Mich as we've been doing for the past 10 years. This year our son and his family will be joining us for Thanksgiving dinner. Dh is deep-frying the turkey, I just get to do all the sides and trimings.
Hoping for snow so we can take grandkids snowmobiling on the trails we've finally finished making through our woods. If no snow they'll just have to be satsified with ATVing. We're also dogsitting my daughter's shelty mix. Scully is one HYPER dog. Wears Hooch out, and everbody else, terrifies the cat and sends Brandy to her crate for some peace and quiet. Hopefully Scully will wind down after the first few day. (do shelties ever wind down???)

Claudia it sounds like you are planning a wonderful Thanksgiving. I hope all goes well for you, your family and everyone that shares this family site with us!!

Everybody please remember....... the turkey and all the trimmings is for the humans. Maybe you could put a drop of white meat and gravy in the kibble to make the furkidz feel like they aren't being left out. However, anything more than that could prove fatal for some of the furkidz. "Better Safe than Sorry"!!

Have a safe and wonderful holiday!
