My doberman is 4 months and acouple weeks.
We feed him puppy chow. I feed him once in the morning and in the evening. Is this enough? I read on the back of the bag, and it said he should get 3-4 cups.
Thanks again!

Welcome! How does your Dobbie's weight look? If he looks good then you are feeding enough, if he looks thin, feed a little more. What is printed on the backs of the kibble bags is suggested feeding. You will want to get him off of puppy kibble by around 6 months and onto adult forumla. As far as potty training, you might try taking him out or leaving him outside longer. If he is not neutered he maybe marking his territory. Do you have any pics to share? Tell us his name and more about him.

Hey thanks for replying.
Yeah I think it's because he is marking his territory. He goes in a lot of different spots.
My dog's name is Gio. He's "the brown coloring"-RED male. Me and my boyfriend own him and we bought him in the summer. He'll be 5 months December 13th. He's about 2 feet tall from his shoulders down. We got his ears cropped. The show cut...their standing real good right now but we'll probably need them taped again.
No pictures uploaded yet but soon enough we will get some up and running on the computer to show ya!
You might want to switch him to not only a better quality kibble, but also an adult kibble. Look for brands that have human grade ingredients and use natural preservatives-Innova, Canidae, Solid Gold are all considered "super premium" kibbles-you can find them in many pet shops and feed stores, but not in supermarkets.
Switching to an adult kibble will provide the nutrition he needs while controlling his rate of growth, you don't want them to grow too fast.
You have to look at the dog to see if it's eating enough daily-you should see a slight "waistline" when you look at the top of the dog if it's eating enough. So you experiment, adding a bit more food or taking a bit more away until you get the dog to the correct weight.
