Gretal has had two baths and after each bath, her black coat shows dandruff. I am using puppy love shampoo. Any suggestions

It sounds like her skin is being excessively dried out by some cause. You can help that by putting 1/4 cup of a HYPOALLERGENIC human bath oil such as Alpha Keri into a spray bottle with about a pint of water. Shake it up and spray her with it, then rub it in to her skin with your hands. It's good for your hands, too. Do this after every bath, and any other time she looks dandruffy. Have your vet check her BEFORE you apply any oil, though (the oil could interfere with accurate diagnosis), and also have your vet check her if you see itching or broken skin. Mange in common in puppies, and needs to be treated promptly.

I hear that giving them a teaspoon of virgin olive oil will help with dry skin too. Anyone hear of doing that?

Yes, but the amount depends on the size of the dog.
