She was a director of Responsible Dog Owners of the Golden State and is President of The Animal Council (TAC), publishing email alerts on selected legislation, regulation and public policy and pet issues. Since 1997, Sharon has been the with the Cat Fanciers' Association Legislative Group working with both cat and dog owners and other interest groups. Caroline's research interests in canine behavior, genetics, neurophysiology, anatomy, and especially, sensory systems, led to a Ph.D. from the Florida State University. Shas shared her findings in more than 200 magazine and scientific journal articles, and in 21 books about dogs.
