house training

-just got a 9 1/2 week english bull dog. great and loving, but distructive. chews on everything. bought him several toys. purchased a no chew spray, but it didn't work.
-starting potty training.only went poop the first night(have had him one week) and occasionally peeps at night in his kennel. any advice as to the above. thanx in advance.

Patience, persistance and consistancy Remember this is just a lil baby and really doesn't know what its doing or should be doing. When you catch your puppy chewing on something it shouldn't be chewing on replace it with a chew toy. Puppies should be taken out at least every 20 minutes or so, sometimes more. They cannot hold it and don't have a clue that they are doing anything wrong. There is a portable fence you can get that works wonders for keeping your puppy just where you want. They are called x-pens and come in different sizes. Would love to see some pictures of your puppy, good luck!
