Patience, persistance and consistancy
Remember this is just a lil baby and really doesn't know what its doing or should be doing. When you catch your puppy chewing on something it shouldn't be chewing on replace it with a chew toy. Puppies should be taken out at least every 20 minutes or so, sometimes more. They cannot hold it and don't have a clue that they are doing anything wrong. There is a portable fence you can get that works wonders for keeping your puppy just where you want. They are called x-pens and come in different sizes.
