Chocolate Lab Puppy w/ Constant Hiccups

My pup is about 4 1/2 month old and he get the hiccups about twice a day. Is this normal? What can I do to make it stop?

If you are worried, have your vet check the dog over. Puppies do get hiccups more often than adult dogs. When a dog of mine gets hiccups, I like to just cuddle the dog and help it get nice and quiet and calm. I don't know if that helps it go away faster, but at least they don't throw up!
