Girl or Boy?

batdog1 Feb 08, 2004 12:20 AM

Hello,
I am considering getting a yorkie and was wondering if I should get a girl or boy? I currently have a 13 year old female lab and know that as a rule two boys will fight and so will two girls but one of each get along... well my lab is getitng old and has a year or two in her but what would be less stressful for both the puppy and the lab?
thanx,
Batdog

Depends on preference. A spayed/neutered pet is not going to be as big a problem as one might think.

I would be more concerned about bringing in a 12 week old pup with the lab. She's old and set in her ways, this could spell a problem.

Statistically, the average breeder remains in a breed for five years. The mark you leave on that breed, good or bad, is entirely up to YOU!
