I have asked a few questions in the past...I have a 4 month old Chocolate Lab and I know I've seen dogs do this before...he eats his own poop! How do I get him to stop and why does he do it?
thanks,
Mike

HI!
I'm sure someone will give you the technical reasons behind it, but basically it is normal. Alot of dogs eat their poop. The one way to stop it is to pick it up as soon as he goes. I've got a greyhound that likes to eat frozen poop. Guess she just likes poopcicles.
