hi,
savannah sleeps on the bed with and and when she needs to go to the bathroom she jumps of, goes on the wee wee pad and jumps back up on the bed. is her sleeping on the bed contributing to all this barking?

Probably not, but don't let her jump up and down off a bed! Dachshund spines were not designed for that. If you're going to allow her on the bed, she needs a ramp.
