Book - "Jack Russell Terrier Secrets"

killer57 Feb 10, 2004 06:03 PM

Hi, I have just recently got a male Jack Russell, broken coat nad a lovely, lively little fellow. I want to do the best for him and was interested in buying a book to help me along the way. I have seen the book 'Jack Russell Terrier Secrets" see http://www.jackrussellsecrets.com/ advertised on the web and it seems intruiging. Has anyone got any info about it? Otherwise have you any recommendations for other books eg Idiots guide etc.
Thanks
George

I haven't heard of that book, but I just finished reading "Living with a Jack Russell Terrier" by Rani Morningstar and it was very good. It covered all the basics like grooming, behavior, training, and I thought it was excellent

Thanks for that. WE did eventually buy a book "Jack Russell Terriers for Dummies" which is really good. The same author did an "Idiots Guide..." too which no longer seems to be in print here (Oz). It's very funny in places espacially when she refers to the "Jack Russell Terrorist" and the "Jack Russell Turbo"

HI,

Personally, I like the Dummie and Idiot guides. I find them very helpful.
