Just thought I would give an update on Gretal. She will be six months at the end of February and we just celebrated our three month anniversary with her. She is doing GREAT with house training and slowly making friends with our two cats. What a gem, especially in Phila. cold weather!!! We still keep her in a contained area while we are out and during the sleeping hours. She has completely taken over the laundry area! The better the housetraining becomes, the more independence she gets and that is as good as a doggie treat to her!
We just returned from Florida and all the wonderful volunteers, kept our routine in place and Gretal never skipped a beat. Thanks for this message board!
PS. Just reading some of the new posts, I am a bit confused by the fact that our Gretal has only barked once in three months?
