heres a pic of my little guy, hes just over a year old now. I love the traditional show coat of the yorkie, it is just beautiful! BUT sooooooo much work. I was just wondering how many of you, keep ur non-show dogs coat short aka getting a "puppy cut". (I am thinking of keeping Bentley's shorter but I want to keep the top knot that I think is just so adorable.)

Also I am from the Greater Vancouver Area in British Columbia, Canada, I'm looking to join a Yorkie Club or Association that can get me in contact with other Yorkie owners, inform me more about the breed and hopefully find a girlfriend for my little CKC registered stud

BentleysMommy, your little guy is a real cutie! I have three shiba inu's now, but years ago I had a Yorkie named Squeaker. He was always a pet and I kept his coat short. I had taken him to a groomer the first few times but then decided...hey I can do this myself and actually got to be pretty proficient at it. I too kept the face and head coat just a little longer.
