Any training tips for beagles?

panzerismybeagle Feb 18, 2004 08:21 PM

My beagle is....lets just say, easily excitable and nearly impossible to train because of his short attention span. When he was just a little pup, about 9 weeks, he was still pretty calm and paid good attention. He's now about....7 months old and I can tell he's brilliant, but he sooooo stubborn and excitable we can't teach him a thing! He thinks that everything means 'sit' or 'jump up on us'.

Any tips to help him pay attention?
