new baby yorkie

luvmylola Feb 21, 2004 08:13 PM

I just welcomed a 14 week old yorkie into my family. I have done a lot of research on the breed but I still have a question. Today I took her to get groomed. I asked them to cut her hair pretty short in a puppy cut. They did a beautiful job and she was very well behaved. However they shaved the hair form the tips of her ears but left the rest long. Is this a normal yorkie cut? Just curious thanx

Yep.. taking the top one third off the ears is VERY normal.

Statistically, the average breeder remains in a breed for five years. The mark you leave on that breed, good or bad, is entirely up to YOU!
