Help on posting please. well not really... rrrgggg

I'm an avid 'member' of the CatHobbyist part of this site, and I'd really like to post on the doggy part too! I log onto dog chats regularaly but I love posting on forums. I own two beutiful golden retrievers, both male, Finnegan&Macintosh. Only problem is, by the looks of 'Golden Retriever Forum' it's pretty deserted... any tips? I didn't really want to post in the Shih Tzu forum as, well, I have GRs.... any tips? Just like in the cat area, I was posting in 'kittens' when someone told me that instead of posting for no one to read, I should just go to 'General Cat Descussion'. Boy did that help! There is so much going on there... any forum like that here?! There's no 'General Dog Descussion' (at least I couldn't find any) Thanks if you can help!!

Hi Sara and welcome to you, Macintosh and Finnegan! I wish I knew what to tell you. The GR board used to be a hopping place, but folks have just slowly gone away. There are still a few here and if a couple of folks started posting on a regular basis, I bet we could get it going again.

How about it you GR folks? Want to start talking?

No, I don't have Goldens. My allergies can tolerate long haired dogs. I have greyhounds.

Hehe, they're so cute... we had, believe it or not, allergies to labrador retrievers and not golden retrievers. Apparently it's the dandruf for us and not the hair it'self. We hated giving away Bailey (so did Macintosh) but when we 'adopted' Finnegan Mac was happy again.... So is the rest of the family.
Your pups are so cute!! They're in the same possition, just reversed!!!

I'm sorry about your lab, that is odd. We used to have a GSD that I was just awful with.

Thanks about my girls. I think they are cute!
