Welcome! Yup, you sound busy! I too have children and dogs. I compete in agility and have been pet-sitting my parents dobbie during their home building. I once had a female red and tan dobbie that was my luv. She lived a good long life until she passed to the bridge at age 14. Looking forward to hearing more about your new pup. Send pics!

Good luck with your new Doberman puppy - sounds like you will have your hands full. I am also a mom to 2 young children, and show my current Doberman in the breed ring - we are also training currently in obedience. These dogs can do it all - but require a lot of work. I hope you are planning on going to obedience classes - a puppy class would be a great start for you. Dobermans are way too smart to skip training with - they will be training you if you are not careful - LOL!
