First of all,

Thank you all for your earlier advise on food for my baby. Also, as far as her nails go, I took her to the vet that same day of the picture and had them trimmed. This picture is Dutchess on her first day without rolls in her ears. One week after that she had to be put back up though. we have only a few more days to see how they do. I just loved having her out of that tape, as well as she did I am sure. I hope like crazy that this will be it for her, I know she will be happier. We start Puppy classes tonight.

Your pup looks gorgeous. I have two dobies one is 8 1/2 and the other is 17 months. Lost a pup (Duke) in 2002 to poisioning by a very cruel farmer. I show my youngest dog and even qualified 4 times for Crufts in March past, although never won anything.
We are not allowed to crop ears here in Scotland so it is strange to see the pup with the ears cropped. We still dock the tails but there are a lot of people trying to ban it, I hope they don't succeed as my oldest dobie who was a rescue still has his tail and I do not think they suit them!!

I am so sorry to hear about Duke, it is such a shame that there are such cruel people in this to world to harm out babies. Showing sounds fun... I think that I would like to get Dutchess into Agility, she is so fast and agile. (if only I can get her to mind me we started puppy class this week, that will be a big help to teach me how to teach her. lol)
I agree with you on the tails. I wasn't even sure if I was going to crop my pups ears when I found one. As it turned out, I didn't have to make the choice, her ears were done when I found her. It was love at first sight. My parents have a Great Dane (Cricket) and chose to not crop her ears. Now we couldn't imagine her with that done. Those huge floppy hears fit her personality soooo well.
