I have found very little info on this rare breed. A good friend has one. The dog was given to him and he was told that she is a Chinese Hound. No papers or other docs. Found one picture on the web and it does look like her. Anyone?

The only thing that comes to my mind is the Chinese Foo Dog, a small hunting dog. Click on the link and it shows a picture and gives a little background information. Not sure if this is the one you are thinking of.

You may be thinking of a Chinese Begueule. It is a mix of a pug and beagle, I believe. There is a registry that registers them.
