Breeding size for female Bongersmai?

HotRodHerps Oct 09, 2003 09:23 AM

My female is 4ft and about 5 pounds. I know these guys get much heavier but at what weight is it safe to try to breed Sumatran bloods?

Hey,
Females should be bred after they are about 3-4 years of age, and at least 4-5ft in length. There weights can vary depending on their feeding schedule, but should weigh at least 15-25Lbs. Hope this helps.

Does this snake look sickly to you? She eats a large rat every week.
