deep breaths

kasg May 31, 2004 09:25 AM

My 13 month old Lab is starting to take 3 quick deep breaths and then be fine and breathe normally. He started to do this about 1 week ago and it happens 2 or 3 times a day. Does he have a breating problem?

I'd watch him for any other symptoms of things not being right (not just breathing), and have a veterinarian check him out.

I'm not a veterinarian, but even a vet wouldn't try to diagnose a problem like that over the Internet. It sounds like you are worried. I'd want a vet to listen to the dog's heart and lungs and check him over if he were mine.
