Thats a hard question to answer? How is the health of your BC? This is a pretty healthy breed and I know of BC's that are 12 and still working cattle

My guess- and obviously their health has a lot to do with it- is 13 - 15 yrs. Approx. And going by what I have seen and heard. I bet your BC has several good yrs. left!

i know border collies that have lived to be 16-17 so as long as your dog is still healty you should have quite a few years left so dont worry.
just at an extra vet check a year, just to make sure everything is fine.
so that if your dog does have any problems you find out sooner rather than later, but seriouse im sure your dog still has a few years to go yet.
