Non Neutered Male-Help

giodane Jul 20, 2004 12:54 PM

I just bought a 2 year old that is not nuetered and always lifts his leg to go potty. It doesn't bother me that much but I can't tell sometimes when he's just marking his territory or really going. He seems to stand there longer when just going to the bathroom...
I have an appt. to get him nuetered, I hope this reduces his hormone level significantly as I do have a female dog who is spayed but he seems to get more hormonal around her.

He will still lift his leg, but he will feel less stress and probably enjoy life more. Marking outside is not a problem behavior. Marking inside the house would be, of course.
