Hello to old friends

bspamb Aug 05, 2004 04:39 PM

I think it's been a couple of years since I last was on this message board....
Hi to the oldtimers!
I'm sure that there have been a lot of changes to everyone's canine families -- as there have been to ours:

MAJIK is going to be 6 years old in a few days. Some photos (for those with strong stomachs!) of her surgery are on our web page.
MEL went to the Bridge in January. The story of his last days is on our web page.
2SOX followed him on Father's Day.
We have a couple new faces since the first of the year:
HAVOC, Majik's brother, has joined us after (FINALLY!) being reclaimed by the breeders.
ONYX is our newest member. A bit of his story is on our web page.

Here's the web page:

BARB & I are well and a bit older. = )

Hope to hear some updates from y'all!
Bret

Hey there Bret. Give your Magik a hug for us. My Majic is getting more grey at just short of 9 and his old shoulder injury acts up more, but he is still full of himself. Sorry to here about 2SOX there is lots of company for her at the bridge with those we have sent ahead of us. Purl is her same of fiesty self and you would not recognize the puppy Quest at over 140 lbs and still filling out, He now holds 2 championship titles and is in the top ten with UKC.
Not to many post here, some still check in once in awhile. Keep me posted as to whats happening up there as I am hoping to compete Purl driving this fall depending on how her breeding cycle works out. Also I am keeping close tabs with Randye and her Christa breeding - doing some hard thinking about if it;s time to start another rottie puppy in our home.

hopefully this link will work it's some of Quest's show pics

Hi Bret, as Val mentioned not too many visit here. Maybe now that you're around things could pick up a bit. Sorry about the dogs you've lost in the past year. Hope all is well otherwise.
(Brandysmom aka ladycmac don't remember which I used on VIN)

Ahhhh, good to see you again! Nice to see the "oldtimers".
Max just turned 7, we had a minor scare, but he is just aging rapidly on us. He's a GREAT boy, and deserves FULL retirement and a life of Riley and Luxury! So he's going to get it, this week I am soon to be the VERY proud Mamma of a BLACK IVES dog!!
Black Ives Imperial Von Topaz Emperor aka "Caesar" who will be my new Service Dog and playmate to Max (cause Monty just cannot hang!)...
Glad to see your new faces too! I was reading your page on Majik, so what was the diagnosis on the exploratory surgery? ACK! Don't leave me hanging here, man!
Warmly,
