Caesar's home!

Caesar is here! Caesar is here!

Presenting......
BLACK IVES IMPERIAL v.TOPAZ EMPEROR "Caesar" arrived today at 3:30 pm via Continental Airlines...
After 45 minutes through rush hour traffic he arrived home where he promptly fell in love with his big brudder Max, was despised by Monty (Hee, hee, Monty despises ALL dogs equally) and has already been whumped once by our Old Man Methusela, er, Puffer our 13 yr old cat.
He got an ICKY bath (wasn't thrilled at first but quickly aquiesed and settled down with a resigned."ok, I'm too tired to argue" was a GOOD boy and pottied in the back yard, took a Royal tour of the house with Max and Monty, had his first dinner here, and finally like the exhausted little toddler, he was put back into his crate (which had been cleaned and lined with a sheepskin pad and fluffy blanket) his OWN Kong and his Own Nylabone.
WHEW!!!! All that and he was only here for an hour and a half already!
Tonight around 7-8pm we will take him on a leisurly walk up to the small hill where we will look for some meterors with Max and Monty
He's met and fallen in love with me, grandma Dorothy, his teen, Steven and even Dad (The guy in the uniform who held me while they took a bunch of pictures of me at the airport! ACK!)
Tomorrow I will be taking the film to get developed and will post some pictures up for all to see either Friday or Saturday.
Well that is it for now....I am So happy he is here at last, so honored to have a Black Ives Dog (Thanks Karen!) and boy, one forgets how quickly a pup can wear you out! (Max is worn out and he only spend 1 hour with the pup! Hahahaha!)
He's SMART as a whip too!!! Very smart, very fast learner! Already learned what is off limits, and walked VERY nicely on a leash!
Except I will have to get him a new collar, LOL! I severly overestimated his size! He's a widdle puddin' butt! I think I still have a nice BLUE puppy collar for him that will fit him nicely until I can dig up a good flat buckle in his size
Hail Caesar! and welcome home!
Warmly
Jackie and the Rotten Ones!
