3 month old lab goes through "crazy spells" and still biting

lovemybaby Sep 21, 2004 09:15 PM

We got a yellow lab from a very reputable breeder 1 month ago. He will occassionally go through "crazy spells" where he runs around all over and will bite me repeatedly for a few minutes and then be done. I am the one who stays home with him all day, feeds him the majority of the time, takes him to his puppy classes and consistently work with him on training. He will not do this with my husband and is even leaving my 3 yr old alone for the most part. I'm trying to figure out why he does this to me and no one else. Just trying to figure out why he is doing this? Or to see if any one has any other suggestions?

The crazy spells are normal for puppies. It seems to be part of the growth process. As to the biting, Labs are a good breed for the method described in this article--here's the link:
