The guy who owns the kennel where I take my Doberman told me today that as a breed, Dobies tend not to do well in the kennel environment. Has anyone heard that? He said my dog was acting spooked and uncertain, and snarled at him in a most convincing way. He's never shown any aggression before! We got him as a rescue, so we don't know his history, but I've done a lot of research on Dobermans and never heard that they don't like kennels. Opinions?

). People at the kennel loved him, for his good nature and for the fact that he would cope with any given dog in the same box, without problems. We still take him to that kennel when we go for hollidays, and everybody there is happy to see him again. They say he is a little depressed in the first day, but after that he's ok, getting lots of exercise and play.
