A few questions on my one-year old pit bull.

Hey,
I am curious if my pit bull will keep his energetic personality after he a "non puppy" or should i expect to see this throughout his whole life? He is a very powerful chewer too and can easily demolish a big nylabone within a couple of days...anyone know of any toys that will last a bit longer? My last question is, what is better to use when walking and keeping him under control....a choker chain, the spike type choker, or.....

It's an energetic breed, and at that age he has not yet hit his peak. As for the training collar, get into a training class and let the instructor (or a private trainer) help you with that in person. Training a strong, serious dog is not a do-it-yourself project, and effective training collars require that the handler receive good instruction from an expert.
