are these people serious ?? these people give humane groups abad name !! they say they wanna save dogs and help out but they wanna put to sleep every single dog they come across.. for example ... i just was watching this program and 2 american bulldogs jumped on a pitbull and it was a fight between em .. the dogs were hurt but nowhere "NEAR" close to death .. it was an accident.. the male bulldog was defending the female against the pittbull that accidently wandered into the territory and they got into it ... and these people put down the pitbull cause they said it was in shock and beyond saving .. WTF is wrong with these people ?? i work for a vet and see incidents like thses all the time and trust me people !! this dog were nowhere near close to death and in shock !!

now to the american bulldogs.. these dogs barely had any puncture wounds and they had the nerve to ask the owner if he wanted the dog humanely put to sleep !!?? im beside myself with this !! these people are either clueless, or just love killing innocent animals !!

i have grown to ignore all of these shows about animal cops and police on the tv .. i have seen these people remove animals from people that are absolutely healthy and had no problems at all !!! i agree that there are some bad things in these shows !! but at the same time , i believe they are going a bit overboard with these shows !! right now im just furious that they put this pitbull down !!

I watched an episode on pit bulls, it was Animal Cops or one of the other ones, I don't remember which. One of the officers went to seize a dog and on the drive there she was talking to the camera, and flat out said "pit bull's jaws lock". Another officer, I think he was a sargeant, was talking to a man about his illegal pit bulls in some place in Florida..and the guy was arguing saying there's nothing wrong with his dogs, he has kids, etc. The officer said yes maybe but something happens with their brain and they snap and they are very dangerous to own since you don't know if they'll snap. I was pissed off too, I even sent a long complaint to Animal Planet. I researched too, so I had the exact episode's "ID number", exactly who the officers were, what scene it was and what the officers said about the breed. I didn't hear back from them but hopefully they won't air the episode anymore, because in the past I have seen this episode before. Has anyone else? I don't own a pit, I wish I did..no room for another dog, but I did live with one. He was a 3 year old 80lb intact rednose and was the most well mannered big dog I've ever encountered, he let my 1 year old nephew "play" with him. If you've seen a 1 year old "play" with a dog you'd think the dog would run away or nip, but Sage would just sit there with this *sigh* look on his face

The show really makes me upset to. One night they took a very old mans dog away. They said he wasn't caring for it properly. Well instead of taking it away help him. He was old and didn't have any one else. It wasn't like he wasn't trying his best. They have no compassion.
