Ridgeback uniqueness

My dog Palo was rescued form the pound, He is a great dog and has all the attributes that I have read about for RR. I think he is crossed with a lab or something but cant be for sure. I am wondering if there are any tell tale attributes they poses, ie dew claw location, gate, walking motions?
