Heres a ppic of him first of all, his name is weiner dog (more pics of him are in my store in my signature)

he is about 7 months old and he has been doing ok until recently. He has started to get ON the coffee table!!! i dont know where he got that idea from but hes doing it. yelling dosent seem to help, i mean, when i catch him, he knows hes doing something wrong but its like he thinks that if we are in another room we cant hear him knocking glasses over! he never learns. Any ideas of how to keep him off the table? Another thing he does is he begs when we are eating. when I yell at him and he goes and runs under my bfs feet for protection and stays there, still begging my bf. We have never given him table food, so i dont know why he does it. Its really annoying..any help at all would be appreciated.

Dachshunds love to eat, and training won't change that. You will need to dogproof your house better and not leave him access to a coffee table with food or drinks on it. As far as the begging, if no one ever, ever, ever gave him any, he would stop. Look to the people behavior for the clues on this one.

i think that people might drop stuff on the floor when they are eating so that might be why he does it. Maybe i should train the humans to learn how to eat! haha.
