Yorkshire terrier and kids?

Do you think a family with small kids could have a yorkie?

I think it would depend on how small the kids are and if they are old enough to understand that the dog can get hurt. It doesn't always take much to hurt a little dog, especially when its a pup. And I know kids will sometimes put dogs through a lot when they are young. I know I did but we had labs, they took it well!

No, I never place my pups in homes with small children.

Statistically, the average breeder remains in a breed for five years. The mark you leave on that breed, good or bad, is entirely up to YOU!
