throwing up

our 20 month old lab has recently been throwing up. this past week he threw up 3 times. it's usually only food or the yellow bile stuff. he's been to the vet and she says he's ok but just not 100% sure. any ideas/suggestions?

Keep in touch with your vet about it, check to see if there is anything your dog could be getting into other than dog food (report it to the vet if so), and be sure to feed your dog at least twice a day, not just once.

we have been keeping her informed. she recommended we get an ultrasound done. someone did say to feed him more. he currently gets 1 1/2 cups 2 times a day with treats in between. we are going to double check before we go for the ultrasound that it IS needed. maybe we should do something else first. his temperment before and after he throws up is fine so maybe he's just getting into something. the throw up either consists of food or the yellow bile stuff. every now and again it'll be a dark color or have mulch in it.
