Rest In Peace My Darling Tinkerbell

bluegrasschi Feb 18, 2005 09:33 PM

Thursday Feb. 17 my baby Tinkerbell was taken
from me (Lost to Parvo). I learned a tough and cruel lesson
in love-- DO NOT TRUST ANYONE WHEN THEY SAY
THE PUPPY/DOG YOU ARE GETTING HAS BEEN DEWORMED
AND HAD IT'S SHOTS. Get proof or you'll pay a greater
price later. I hope my tragedy may help someone else.
Light a candle for my baby girl. Thanks all. -Marie
(Tinkerbell~I'll meet you at the bridge someday. I love you.)

Im so very sorry for your loss, what does the breeder say to this, have you told her?

bluegrasschi Feb 19, 2005 05:13 PM

she said it wasn't her fault....

sullysmum Feb 21, 2005 03:49 PM

Thats not very nice did she offer you any help?

bluegrasschi Feb 21, 2005 11:32 PM

No, the breeder offered me no help or sympathy of any kind.
I learned the hard way about trust. Thinking back on the very short few weeks I had Tink I realize the reason she couldn't stay, I was facing hard times with lonliness and depression when I moved off to start college, and I honestly believe God sent
an angel in disguise to me to help me through. Now that I'm better, I must continue on my journey and Tink had to go help someone else. I'll miss her greatly, but another chi baby somewhere out there needs me, and I'll be happy to find it and
learning from my mistakes i'll be able to love it better and
be a better mommy to it. Thanks for all your corncern, at first
I didn't think I'd want another chihuahua, but now I know just how special those little animals are. God Bless you all and your fur babies too! --Marie

I'm very sorry for the loss of your pup. It's always so hard when something like this happens. If I may ask how old was Tinkerbell? I don't think I understand the breeders response but this isn't a time for that right now.

I do believe that when our dogs make the journey to the Bridge that they are waiting for our next reunion. Again sorry for your loss.

Look not where I was
For I am not there
My spirit is free
I am everywhere

In the air that you breathe
In the sounds that you hear
Don't cry for me Mom
My spirit is near

I'll watch for you
From the other side
I'll be the one running
New friends by my side

Smile at my memory
Remember in your heart
This isn't the end
It's a brand new start

Poor Tinkerbell!

I'm glad she had a loving mom.

I remember you posting when you first got Tinkerbell. I don't think it was that long ago. I think I remember that she was very young. I'm a bit troubled about the breeders response to your question and gaving out a pup at such a young age.

I wish you strength and courage as it is hard to loose our treasured friends. And, I think, all the harder when they are soo young.
