ok i had my pit for 4 months now, when i got her she had some fleas and larva(sp) on her. i brought a flea shampo and i wash her every other day for the 1st week. she was in the house when i got her because of the winter coldness. now i am thinking that fleas my be in my house. what can i do to stop them from hatching if there are eggs around and how can i notice them if so. and when will the eggs hatch if i have eggs in the house. how can i get rid of the fleas.

If the dog is a pit bull, you might be able to get rid of the fleas by putting Advantage from your veterinarian on the dog once a month. If this is a small dog, though, you will need the premises treated, and that can be dangerous, so I recommend you use a guaranteed professional service.
