ok i had my pit for 4 months now, when i got her she had some fleas and larva(sp) on her. i brought a flea shampo and i wash her every other day for the 1st week. she was in the house when i got her because of the winter coldness. now i am thinking that fleas my be in my house. what can i do to stop them from hatching if there are eggs around and how can i notice them if so. and when will the eggs hatch if i have eggs in the house. how can i get rid of the fleas.

Buy some flea collars. Not for the dog but for your vaccum. Snap them and put them in the vacuum back. When you vacuum you will pick up the fleas and eggs. The collar will kill them for you.
If that doesn't work you may need to bomb your home.
