Dog Food

Can anybody suggest a good food to feed my Yorkie puppy? He is almost 4 months old. His breeder had him eating Purina Puppy Chow, but I looked at the ingredients, and I don't like them. It is mainly made of corn and there are by-products and other gross stuff in there. I would like to find a food that is composed of mostly meat and without corn, soy, or by-products. I went to PetsMart and read all of the labels on the puppy food and nothing sounded too great. One decent food that they had was called Authority Harvest Baked, or something like that. I have tried mixing some of that food with his Purina to try to transition him off of the Purina, but his bowels don't seem to be agreeing with the new food. Does anybody have a food that they feed their yorkies that they really like? Thank you.

I feed Nutros Natural Choice Lamb & Rice for dry. Biljack is also good. Whatever works for your dog is best.

Statistically, the average breeder remains in a breed for five years. The mark you leave on that breed, good or bad, is entirely up to YOU!

I don't own a yorkie but try looking up Innova Evo. It has no grains or by products.
