Good afternoon. I was wondering if you could tell me if you ever got a response from the morphers in Arizona who "came across" some examples of Boa c. sabogae? Are there any estimates as to how many animals may be left on the island and what steps, if any, are being taken to stop the theft and exportation of this sub specie? Take care.

Tom

I got no direct respond from the guys in Arizona, but I have heard from someone who talked to one of them that they were not amused about my post to say the least.

As to the Sabogae boas: There are two groups of islands where they are (were) found: The Taboga complex not far off the coast of Panama and the Sabogae islands.

According to the informations that I have got from Robert Meidinger who was there the Sabogae on the Taboga complex are extinct meanwhile.

I have no informations how things on the Pearl Islands are.
