>>when Dingo's going something wrong and he knows I dont approve of his actions he'll submit to me without hesitation but if I go to pet him while he's submitting he'll mouth my hand and can get a little too rough, I've tried just walking away but that doesn't work with him, if nothing else he'll get up and try to grab my hand, any ideas how to get him to stop? he also gets rough when just petting him and playing with him will the same technique work on all the mouthing?
>>thanks.

Since they don't have teeth, dogs naturally use their mouths on us as puppies. We have to teach them not to do that, and I favor a gentle method that keeps the whole process low-key so that you are not fighting with your dog and the dog is getting gentler all the time. Here's a link to an article about the method I prefer:

Be careful about correcting your dog into a submissive posture. That's usually an indication that your correction is too harsh for that particular dog. It might be fine for another dog, but more than this one needs. Pushing a dog into this mode can have damaging effects on the temperament, in particular causing the dog to become more defensive as he matures than he would otherwise have been.
