I'm not sure she's a Beagle

dhardawa Apr 12, 2005 09:40 PM

I started fostering the puppy last week. The shelter calls her a beagle, but I'm not sure. Either way, I have failed fostering because she is going to stay with us. I'm just curious if she is actually a beagle. If anyone has any idea, please let me know. Thanks!

I would say she looks like a beagle to me. Nice to see she found a good home!

Hi,
I had a beagle for eighteen years and she sure looks like a beagle to me. I'm so happy that she is saying with you. Hope you'll be sharing some stories about this cutie.

How old is the dog?

I've owned Beagles since 1994 ... and this girl looks 100% Beagle to me. Keep in mind the vast majority of pet Beagles in this country will not resemble what you see at the dog shows (which is not a bad thing, lol).

She's a cutie and looks beagle to me too. Looks like a winner!

Thanks for failing foster 101.

Dogs come into our lives, and too quickly go leaving pawprints on our hearts, and we will never be quite the same again.
