New to the Chihuahua World

Hey all!
I've a question. I just rescued a Chihuahua from an animal care and control center. I'm a Silky/Yorshire Terrier person. This is my first Chi. My question is - She is 6 mon.s old and often seems very hungry. I don't want to over feed her but is this normal for a Chi or should I be concerned and headed toward the vet?

I think this may be pretty normal, my chihuahua seems like he is constantly eating. I think this may be because he is extremely hyper and needs a lot of energy. I wouldn't be too worried.
