On Tuesday afternoon my beautiful deerhound Raven was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a genetic form of bone cancer tragically common in her breed.
Most of what I'm feeling I really can't express. Unlike parents who have to love all their children the same, I do have favorites among my dogs, and Raven is the one.

my heart goes out to you both. its easy to say that you need to focus on the time you have left & the good memories, but it still is crushing news.
