Thanks for your help. I will try some of your ideas and see what is going on. To answer one of your questions, she likes to go outside on her leash for a walk around the block. I am starting to think that this is her way of lodging a protest. She used to tear things up when i left her when she was a puppy, so i am starting to think that she is afraid that i am leaving. i say this because yesterday when i was going to dinner, she ran to my car and stood beside it refusing to come back inside. I do think that maybe the little boys next door may have scared her, becuase the do like to aggrevate the dogs when they are outside. I'll keep you guys posted.
